How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out at least 8–12 weeks before your trip, especially for travel between May and October or over the holidays. That gives us time to secure the right restaurants, tours, and reservations — many of the best spots in Paris fill up weeks (sometimes months) in advance. That said, we can often accommodate shorter timelines for Virtual Planning Calls, so don't hesitate to ask if your trip is coming up quickly.
What's the difference between a Bespoke Itinerary and a Virtual Planning Call?
A Bespoke Itinerary is your entire trip, planned from start to finish. We build a fully customized day-by-day plan, handle reservations, and coordinate transportation. It's for travelers who want to show up and simply enjoy — no planning stress, no guesswork.
A Virtual Planning Call is a focused 60-minute video session where we map out what you need: neighborhoods, restaurants, day trips, transport, and insider tips. You leave with clarity and a written follow-up, and you do the booking yourself. It's ideal for confident, independent travelers who want local expertise without a full handover.
Do you plan trips outside of Paris?
Yes. While Paris is our home base, we regularly build itineraries that include day trips and extended stays across France — think the Loire Valley, Normandy, Champagne, Provence, Côte d'Azur, and beyond. If your trip spans multiple cities or you're using Paris as a launching pad, we'll fold it all into one seamless plan.
What makes your recommendations different from a guidebook or ChatGPT?
We've lived in Paris for more than 13 years. Every place we recommend is somewhere we've personally been — often many times — with opinions about which table to ask for, which day to visit, and which dish to order. We know the restaurants worth the booking hassle and the ones that are tourist traps with great Instagram photos. You won't get that level of specificity from a guidebook or an AI, because it comes from actually living here.
